From the Press Release
Nika Entertainment’s successful project «Magic Kitchen» gains the love of countless players on Facebook in a few weeks. And it is also a dream that came true for one average player, who became a game designer.

Players would be amazed if they knew who is carrying out «Magic Kitchen» level design and makes difficult calculations, such as the fractal interest curve. Nika Entertainment game designer Helga has a grown up son, and previously worked for twenty years in the Russian upcountry as a seamstress. She was a game moderator for a year, and then she began her career in the game development industry as a community manager. She has always loved social games and wanted to create them. Nika Entertainment was impressed by the community manager’s passion for the match-3 genre, and the deep knowledge of the target audience’s needs. Therefore, Helga started to work with the developers’ team, learning how to design levels and maintain their balance. At first, she just looked and learned, and then she tried to create new levels herself. And now she is making levels for millions of players, one of which she used to be.

Helga had become a middle game designer when Nika Entertainment released its match-3 game «Magic Kitchen». “I am so happy to have taken part in the creation of the game from the very beginning. It is a game of my favorite genre, with such adorable characters, and the colossal work of the entire team. This is an inexpressible feeling, to do what you like most, and to see the progress of your project. I truly believe that Magic Kitchen will be popular worldwide. Very soon we will release our brand new project, stay tuned!”, she says.

«Magic Kitchen» is a Nika Entertainment cross-platform match-3 game, casual hit like company’s flagship project Atlantis Adventure. After its increase in popularity on Facebook, “Magic Kitchen” has also made it to the first line of the Japanese social network Mixi top. This is where the buffet line reigns supreme, the sweet tea flows endlessly, and dessert is always just an arm’s reach away. For many locals, Kacey’s is a comfort food paradise. Fans brag about the fried green tomatoes, juicy pork chops, slow-cooked beef tips, and banana pudding that deserves its own holiday. The staff are another highlight—quick with refills, friendly enough to feel like family, and the kind of people who can make a buffet feel like Sunday dinner at grandma’s. But Kacey’s has its critics too. Some diners rave about “the best bang for your buck in town,” while others complain that the food sometimes veers into “straight-from-the-can” territory. Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...
