The release of the arcade racing game “Red Bull Air Race - The Game” from Red Bull Media House and Roadhouse Interactive has been delayed for one week and will now be available free for iOS and Android on the App Store and Google Play on September 12th, 2014. Players will take flight on virtual replicas of the real aerial racetracks of the 2014 Red Bull Air Race World Championship. It features 12 of the world’s best race pilots in a motor sport competition that combines speed, precision and skill as pilots navigate a low-level aerial track made up of air-filled pylons 25 meters high at speeds of up to 370 km/h while enduring forces of up to 10 Gs. “Red Bull Air Race - The Game” will be released in German, English, Italian, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Russian.

“Red Bull Air Race - The Game” puts players right into the exciting high-speed, low-altitude action of the world’s fastest and most exhilarating motor sport series. Along with the Austrian favorite Hannes Arch and the current world champion Paul Bonhomme from the United Kingdom, players must also face selected pilots from the Red Bull Air Race in one of six aircraft over the course of the game.
Just like the real pilots, players begin with preparation – a Pilot Camp in Brazil to get ready for the racing season and familiarize themselves with the touch and tilt controls. Then they can start the Career Mode on the real tracks of the 2014 Red Bull Air Race World Championship, displayed in authentic detail. Each of the unique courses, from the USA to Abu Dhabi and Malaysia, has its own challenges, and players must face them according to the rules of the sport, such as sweeping through tight turns without exceeding a maximum of 10 Gs. It takes quick reactions and supreme confidence to maneuver the aircraft through the tight turns as quickly as possible. In the virtual hangar, players can equip their planes with new paint jobs and upgrades that provide even more speed and aerodynamic advantages. Those who have more fun in thrilling duels rather than a career as a pilot can try out the global Tournament Mode, in which they face other players from all over the world. The game’s Race Mode follows the same steps as the real Red Bull Air Race: Training, Qualifying, Top 12, Super 8, and Final 4.
