Square Enix Reveals Limited Sale For Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King

DRAGON QUEST® fans are in for a treat as SQUARE ENIX® today announced that the mobile versions of its fan-favorite RPG, DRAGON QUEST® VIII: Journey of the Cursed King™, is now available at a reduced price until September 4 for $14.99. In addition, Square Enix also announced that DRAGON QUEST VIII: Journey of the Cursed King, as well as the recently launched DRAGON QUEST® IV: Chapters of the Chosen®, will both be playable at PAX Prime from August 29 through September 1 in the company’s booth (#3630).


DRAGON QUEST VIII: Journey of the Cursed King lets mobile players explore the game’s vast grassy fields, snow-capped mountains, daunting dungeons and restless seas. Players can slide their screens to pan the camera in a full 360 degrees around the character. In addition, DRAGON QUEST VIII: Journey of the Cursed King also features the original title’s revolutionary synthesizer score, orchestrated by the series’ long time music composer Koichi Sugiyama.
