Bitbox Games has announced that Bloxland Story is now available for Android and Windows Phone. Read on.
Bloxland Story is an action/puzzle game. Its gameplay and visual style are inspired in video games from the 8 and 16-Bit era. It will be available at summer’s end 2014 for Android/iTunes/Windows-Phone (for both smartphone & tablet systems) and later on PC/Mac/Linux. The main mechanic of Bloxland Story main mechanic consists in matching 3 or more “blox” with the same color (but just one block per row) in order to increase the Block Counter and Score. The player must chain quick plays to increase the “Chain Bar” and therefore the score multiplier. When the “Chain Bar” reach its max level, a “Mega-Chain” happens and all the blocks on the screen are teleported, rewarding the player with a great amount of scorepoints. During the game, new blocks are persistently falling from the upper part of the screen, also, the player can request for extra blocks with a simple action. The game ends when the stage’s main objective is accomplished or if a column is full when a new block should fall on it (Game Over).
