From the Press Release
Ever since its foundation in 2013, the Formula Masters China Series (FMCS) enthuses and excites thousands of racing fans in all of Asia. Organised by Volkswagen Group China and TopSpeed Limited, this young racing series aspires to create a well-balanced setting that allows for the most talented, and not well-heeled, drivers to prevail on the race track. As such, the FMCS forms an ideal environment to spot and foster up-and-coming racing talents and prepare them for entering the international scene.
By adding the Formula Masters China Series to acclaimed racing simulation Sports Car Challenge 2 with a stand-alone entry in the car selection, Volkswagen Group China and Deep Silver FISHLABS now also introduce the FMCS to the rest of the world.
In the course of today's free content update, the official racing car of the FMCS series has been made available in Sports Car Challenge 2 as the 20th addition to the app's illustrous car pool, which also features high-class models by international top brands such as Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche and Volkswagen.
With 180 horsepower and a weight of only 525 kilograms as well as an engine size of 2000 ccm, the FMCS' signature racer speeds from 0 to 60 miles per hour in a mere 3.3 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 146 miles per hour. In Sports Car Challenge 2, the FMCS racing car can be driven on five international race tracks in three different game modes. To round things off, the profiles of accomplished FMCS pilots James Munro (NZL), Matthew Solomon (HK) and Akhil Rabindra (IND) can be accessed via the show room.
