Kicker Performance Audio and Jeep Sponsoring Jeep Summer Concert Series

KICKER Performance Audio and Jeep will be sponsoring the Jeep Summer Concert Series taking place on October 4th. Read on.

KICKER Performance Audio joins Jeep in sponsoring an encore performance of the Jeep Summer Concert Series at Red Rocks with the indie rock band O.A.R. performing at the legendary Colorado amphitheater on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014.

KICKER has long history with the Jeep, having built vehicle-specific audio systems for the auto manufacturer over the years, including a current custom package available for the Jeep Wrangler. Several vehicles outfitted with custom KICKER Audio systems will be on display at the event along with KICKER's Xtreme Recreational Vehicle (XRV), a tractor trailer featuring a 26,000-watt “boom room.” In addition to the loaded Jeeps and the XRV, KICKER will be giving out prize packages of car and home audio gear to some of the 10,000 spectators expected to attend the concert.

This is not the first time KICKER Audio rocked Red Rocks. The KICKER XRV thrilled the crowd at the Morrison, Colo. amphitheater on January 31, 2014 when hip-hop band Jurassic 5 headlined Icelantic Ski’s third annual Winter on the Rocks concert. KICKER also supported that show with custom vehicles and prize giveaways.

“We had such fun working with Jeep and the folks at Red Rocks earlier this year that we were delighted to be a part of this encore performance,” said Steve Irby, KICKER’s president and co-founder. “It’s an iconic venue, and Jeep is an iconic brand, and we feel that KICKER has become an icon of car audio as well, so it felt like a great fit for us.”

The company has a history of supporting concert events that, like its products, appeal to a wide audience of music lovers. For example, the KICKER Country Stampede country music festival was held in Manhattan, Kans. on June 26-29, 2014. This was the second year in which KICKER was the lead sponsor of the event that has showcased some of the genre’s biggest stars, including Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Lady Antebellum, and Keith Urban.

“The reason we all got into this business, the reason we exist, is because we love music,” added Irby. “And supporting these live performances, across all styles and genres, is a great way for us to reach our fellow music fans and showcase our diverse line of audio products.”

KICKER Performance Audio products, a division of Stillwater Designs and Audio, Inc.®, are available for the home and mobile audio aftermarket at authorized dealers worldwide, and also as selected Original Equipment through other manufacturers. Consumers needing more information on KICKER or Livin’ Loud® may call the Consumer Information Line at 1-800-256-5425 or visit the brand website at www.KICKER.com.
