KOEI TECMO America today released a fresh batch of assets for the upcoming ‘7 dimension’ Sci-fi RPG AR NOSURGE: ODE TO AN UNBORN STAR, scheduled to launch in North America on September 23, 2014 for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. The new images and videos expand on the unique gameplay system which focuses on building character relationships and the personal stories revealed— the stronger the bond, the greater the rewards to the player.

The new images explore the Ar nosurge battle system further, highlighting the power of Song Magic as the key to victory. In AR NOSURGE: ODE TO AN UNBORN STAR players control the fighter in a 2-person team, with the other character supporting via AI as a spell caster. Protecting the spell caster will allow for more powerful Song Magic attacks to obliterate the upcoming waves of enemies. Gust developed the system to create exhilarating battles in a challenging but easy to master structure, in order to allow players to plan different, more efficient strategies to defeat enemies.

Additionally, Koei Tecmo released videos showcasing Genometrics which strengthen Synthesis ability, the Purification ceremony which increase various skills and powers through a bonding ritual and Song Magic effects in battle.
