Penguins of Madagascar Coming To Nintendo Wii, Wii U and 3DS This November

Little Orbit and DreamWorks Animation have announced a new licensing agreement to bring the Penguins of Madagascar to the Nintendo Wii, Wii U and 3DS on November 25th. Players will be able to jump into a journey of four penguins that includes Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private. Read on to learn more.

Super spy teams aren't born...they're hatched! Worldwide video game publisher, Little Orbit, has entered into a licensing agreement with DreamWorks Animation to bring the Penguins of Madagascar exclusively to Nintendo platforms this holiday. In the game, players will be able to live the life of an elite penguin spy on the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. The game will be showcased at the upcoming GameStop Expo on September 10th and will launch on November 25th.

The four web-footed operatives, Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private, uncover a nefarious plot by the evil octopus, Dave (Dr.Octavious Brine) to destroy the penguin world as we know it. Players will travel to top-secret locales and embark on covert missions to thwart Dave’s evil plans.

Players will be able to play as the four penguins and instantly swap between them depending on the situation encountered. For example, Rico, a demolitions expert, loves to blow things to smithereens while Skipper can dish out his stun slap to give enemy octopi high-powered smackdowns! Players can solve puzzles by choosing the penguin whose natural skills are best suited for the task.

“Following our success with DreamWorks’ How to Train Your Dragon 2 this summer, we are once again thrilled to work with them to bring Penguins of Madagascar to gamers later this year,” said Matt Scott, president of Little Orbit. “Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private stole the show in previous Madagascar films with their humor and crazy antics.”

Penguins of Madagascar is the latest entry to the wildly popular Madagascar film franchise which has grossed over $1.8 Billion dollars worldwide. The film releases in theatres November 26, 2014.

Penguin fans can check out a demo of Penguins of Madagascar, the video game on September 10th at the GameStop Expo (Booth #1459) at the Anaheim Convention Center.
