Pley Announces New Subscription Service That Allows You To Rent LEGOS

We all love our video games here at BioGamer Girl--sometimes we all need a break from technology--and a fun game of  LEGOs is a welcome addition. You can rent almost anything and that now includes LEGOs! Would you like to build a Star Wars City or your very own LEGO empire? Then read on to learn more about Pley.

Avant-garde French artist, Mattieu Latry used Star Wars LEGOs to depict a scene of Darth Vader and Stormtroopers invading the city of Lyon, France. It’s not hard to notice that large-scale LEGO sculptures have become an increasingly popular trend.

LEGO unveiled some of their upcoming products this past week at Comic-Con in San Diego. Many of the sets feature awesomely large designs such as the 75084 Wookiee Gunship set, which requires 570 pieces to build and will be hitting shelves in January 2015 for $69.99.

For LEGO enthusiasts who opt for a much more affordable option, Pley is the solution. What many refer to as “the Netflix of LEGOs,” Pley is a service that supplies subscribers with a different LEGO set each month based on preferences. Each set is sanitized before being sent out and there is no fee for missing a few pieces. Subscriptions range from $15 to $39 per month.
