Stolen Couch Games, the studio behind the upcoming Animal Crossing-like game Castaway Paradise for all mobile platforms, announced today the procurement of a €250,000 in funding from private investors.
The company has hired additional staff over the last months and invested heavily in the development of their own free-to-play framework. The first game to use this framework is Castaway Paradise, an Animal Crossing-like game for iOS.

Stolen Couch Games has chosen to invest heavily in subscription-based monetization for their upcoming games. “By utilizing subscriptions in addition to dual currency economies our games will have superior ARPPUs,” said Selma Oors, CEO of Stolen Couch Games.
