From the Press Release
TransGaming today announced that the popular World Poker Tour® game for GameTree™ TV now features second-screen and multiplayer capabilities that players access through iOS and Android enabled mobile phones and tablets to augment the social entertainment experience of the platform.

The new feature further redefines the interactive poker experience by allowing up to six players with smartphones or tablets to play together through innovative second-screen integration. The WPT® game enables a mobile device to display a player's hand, while the TV displays the poker table and surrounding action, thus enabling players to privately review their hands, bet, raise, and fold, all from their mobile device. The multiplayer-enabling app is available to download now at the iTunes Store® and Google Play by searching for GameTree TV.

"Our original goal for releasing World Poker Tour on GameTree TV was to bring the energy and atmosphere of playing in a real WPT tournament to the comfort of your home," said Vikas Gupta, CEO & President of TransGaming. "The addition of multiplayer features to the title provides players with the most realistic and immersive World Poker Tour experience, delivering a social engagement that makes the WPT tournaments so unique."

The World Poker Tour game, designed from the ground up by TransGaming™, is one of the most popular games on the GameTree™ TV platform, while being the only licensed Texas Hold'Em tournament game in the Smart TV global gaming market. World Poker Tour (WPT) has broadcast globally in over 150 countries and territories, and is one of the most recognized names in internationally televised gaming and entertainment, with brand presence in land-based tournaments, television, online and mobile.
