Ubisoft Reveals Welcome to the Abyss DLC for Trials Fusion

Ubisoft has announced the third of six planned DLC for Trials Fusion entitled Welcome to the Abyss. The new content will give players 10 new tracks, 24 challenges, 5 achievements and even new objects for the track editor. Season Pass holders will get immediate access on October 7th. Read on.

Today, Ubisoft announced Welcome to the Abyss, the third of six planned downloadable content packs for Trials Fusion, which brings players 10 new tracks, 24 challenges, five achievements, and new objects for the track editor. Season Pass holders will receive immediate access on October 7 when Welcome to the Abyss is released and riders without the Season Pass can purchase it for $4.99.

In Welcome to the Abyss players leave the clouds of utopia in Empire of the Sky to explore mysterious ruins under the sea. Pristine stone relics mysteriously flow with energy from an unknown power source, enabling ancient machinery to continue operating. This wonder, combined with the proof of worship of an unidentified deity bring up questions for fearless riders to explore. Riders should proceed with caution though; there is more to these ancient ruins than what first meets the eye.

The Season Pass is still available for $19.99 and includes Welcome to the Abyss, all future DLC and previous DLC Empire of the Sky and Riders of the Rustlands. The final three pieces of DLC will be released by May 2015.

Developed by RedLynx in collaboration with Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Kiev, Trials Fusion has sold over one million copies and offers players an unlimited array of obstacles and challenges as they race against the clock to set track records.
