ComiXChat app will launch on October 9th. Read on to learn more.
On Oct 9, in conjunction with NY Comic-Con, a new free(mium) messaging app called comiXchat (Comics Chat) launches. It’s one-of-a-kind in the surging over-the-top (OTT) messaging and chat apps space. comiXchat creates a unique comic depiction as your chat takes place, illustrating it with hand-drawn avatars and settings which look like they torn from a fantasy comic book. Created by award-winning Australian artist Otto Schmidinger, the artwork showcases your conversation in a weird and wonderful world which is truly immersive.
Emoticons can't hold a candle to this new app. comiXchat technology includes artificial intelligence to discern the content and context of the messaging conversation and draws as-it-happens chat illustrations, with the avatars changing expressions, different angles and points of view and even changing the setting. The app will be released on all platforms simultaneously and chats can be saved or shared (either single frames or whole ‘comics strips’) on social platforms.
