The game will allow players to use a slew of towers to build their defense against their incoming enemies and much more. Ready to learn more? Read on to get started and check out the fast-paced tower defense game.

From the Press Release
Offering players a new dimension in the tower defense video game genre, Defenders of Time, an engaging fast-paced tower defense game for up to eight players, is scheduled to be released Nov. 4 on Steam for PC and Mac, indie game developer Four Lights announced today.

The studio also announced today that the game is now available for pre-order at www.TheDefendersOfTime.com.

Set in an alternative universe where the fabric of time must be protected, Defenders of Time has a 3D aerial perspective and requires players to use a multitude of towers to build an impenetrable defense against an enemy seeking to destroy links to the past. The game can be played by one to eight players in several gameplay modes. PC and Mac players can also fight against each other in cross-platform online play.

"Defenders Of Time lets players work together to defend their exits in quick intense matches. We wanted players to be able to eat lunch and play three or four solid games before heading back to work," said John Flury, CEO of Four Lights. "As tower defense players ourselves, we included all the elements we enjoy in order to make a unique game that is great for one player and even better with multiple players."

Having benefited from a successful Steam Greenlight campaign, Defenders of Time, will be available on Steam for $20. Access to the entire single-player mode is free.
