Evil Controllers Custom Xbox One Controllers (Accessory Review)

Evil Controllers is a growing company for gamers looking to purchase custom video game controllers and accessories. The company was originally founded in 2007 by brothers Adam and Jonah Cole. Evil Controllers are now available nationwide from Best Buy chains, and the company also offers one of the only online Controller Creator apps that allows customers to create their own gaming controller to very specific specifications. Evil Controllers allowed us to create our own custom Xbox One controller and go hands-on with the unique products. What did we think of our own Evil Controller? Read on!

Evil Controllers allows customers to customize officially licensed PlayStation 4, Xbox One and other console controllers. The company offers over 30 different designs and colors for the shell of the controllers including chrome colors and video game themed logos and images. Additionally, fans can choose from a large variety of other options for their controller including custom buttons, triggers, thumbsticks and directional pads. Evil Controllers also offer modded controllers with rapid fire and other options that will help gamers get ahead of their competition in online multiplayer sessions. Tons of other options are available depending on how much cash gamers are willing to spend for their new accessory.

Our Evil Controllers customized Xbox One controller came with white buttons, triggers, directional pad and thumbsticks and a glossy red shell. Evil Controllers also set us up with custom logos including a gamertag name on the left side and a controller design on the right side. The first thing we noted when using the controller was how much better the controller looked in person than images seen online. The glossy red finish really shines in person, and we can only imagine how great some of the other shells offered by Evil Controllers would look in person. We also loved how tight all of the buttons and sticks felt on the controller as though they were factory installed and originally designed by Microsoft. The controller seems built to last, and we will definitely be using it for as long as possible.

One problem with the Evil Controllers line of custom controllers are the price of the accessories Evil Controllers offer good prices when compared with similar companies in the custom video game controller industry, but the items are still a luxury that not every gamer will be able to easily afford. A custom shell casing for the controller alone can cost as much as $39.99 added to the default price for the controllers at $69.99. With mods, custom shells and different colored buttons, an Evil Controllers custom product could easily cost over $199.99. It's worth noting how high quality the controllers from the company are, and Evil Controllers offer affordable warranties with all controllers up to 3 years, so that many gamers will never need to purchase another controller for their current console.

Evil Controllers offer great products at fair prices. Gamers looking to get an edge in online sessions with modded controllers or those that simply want to add their own personal style to their gaming accessories will not be disappointed with the Evil Controllers line of customized controllers. The controllers are fairly priced with others in the same industry, but Evil Controllers products are built to last and come with some of the best warranties seen in any field.
