Raptr Streaming New and Upcoming Games for Extra Life Event

Raptr has announced it will be teaming with several of the biggest developers in the video games industry to showcase several new and upcoming games for their Extra Life Stream. The event will raise money for the foundation while showcasing games such as Dragon Age: Inquisition from BioWare, Game 4 from The Behemoth and The Tomorrow Children from Q-Games. Most of the developers participating in Raptr’s Extra Life stream will be playing upcoming, unreleased games, offering fans a unique opportunity to check out hours of gameplay from some highly anticipated titles. The schedule of streaming partners is as follows (all times PDT):

Friday, October 24:
11-11:30 a.m. – World of Speed (My.com)
12-1 p.m. – The Evil Within (Bethesda)
3-4 p.m. – Game 4 (The Behemoth)
4-5 p.m. – Below (Capybara Games)
6-7 p.m. – The Tomorrow Children, Nom Nom Galaxy (Q-games)

Saturday, October 25:
9-10 a.m. – The Internet’s Jeff Green (Hit Detection, PopCap, EA)
10-11 a.m. – Dragon Age: Inquisition (BioWare)
11-12 p.m. – Warframe (Digital Extremes)
12-1 p.m. – Orcs Must Die! Unchained (Robot Entertainment)
1-2 p.m. – TOME: Immortal Arena (KIXEYE)
2-4 p.m. – Tera + Zombies Monsters Robots (new content) (En Masse Entertainment)
4-5 p.m. – The Long Dark (Hinterland Games)
5-5:30 p.m. – Never Alone (Upper One Games)
5:30-6:30 p.m. – Galak-Z (17-Bit)
6:30-7:30 p.m. – Smite (Hi-Rez Studios)

As incentives to help support this worthy cause, Raptr will be awarding a range of prizes – both through random drawings and for reaching specific fundraising targets – to Extra Life participants and donors. Details of how the various prizes will be awarded can be found at http://l.raptr.com/zcjal; among the top prizes are hardware, game codes and peripheral devices from AMD, CyberPowerPC, Gigabyte, XFX, Mionix and Astro. As one example, Raptr will raffle off a fully loaded CyberPowerPC complete with Radeon 290X graphics card to one lucky winner, chosen at random from among all those who stage their own marathon gaming session in support of Extra Life and post an Instant Replay clip to Raptr.com.
