From the Press Release
Independent studio Camouflaj announced today that the third of five installments in the critically acclaimed game République will launch on the App Store on October 23rd. Partnering with Darkwind Media, Episode 1: Exordium, Episode 2: Metamorphosis, and Episode 3: Ones & Zeroes will finally arrive on Android marketplaces Google Play and Amazon App Store. Executed by industry veterans behind AAA games including Halo 4 and Metal Gear Solid 4, République brings console-quality gameplay and graphics to iOS and Android devices.

République’s award-winning story continues with Ones & Zeroes. In their quest to liberate Hope, the player seeks the help of an unlikely ally: Mattie Sade, the editor-in-chief of the surveillance state’s newspaper. In the most voluminous installment yet, the player builds a case against Hope’s captors using Mattie’s access to a secret network reaching far beyond the walls of Metamorphosis. Equal parts combat and puzzle-solving, EP3 expands the universe of République with revelations on the Overseer’s chilling plans for the world.

“Ones & Zeroes is the longest episode yet, clocking in at over three hours for most players,” said Ryan Payton, designer at Camouflaj. “Not only is EP3 our most content heavy episode to date, I’m really proud how our new features retroactively enhance previous episodes.”

Through a partnership with Darkwind Media, République finally arrives on Android. “When Camouflaj approached us about bringing République to Android, we couldn’t pass on the opportunity,” says Matthew Mikuszewski, co-founder of Darkwind Media. “We share Camouflaj’s passion for delivering polished, quality content. Darkwind is excited to be a part of République, and can’t wait to hear Android players’ reactions.”

Episode 3: Ones and Zeroes includes:
  • Longest Republique Episode Yet: including stunning new “Terminus” environments
  • Strategic New Weapon: Sleepyheads, a strategic crowd-control mine
  • New Prizrak Variations: Menacing new V.I.S.R. and Ambassador Prizrak
  • Innovative, Multi-Tier New Puzzle: The Morning Bell Online edition
  • New OMNI Abilities: Unlock ability to delay guard patrols, visualize enemies on map
  • Video documentary: A detailed look into the development of Episode 3, free for Season Pass holders (in-app purchase)

Episode 3: Ones and Zeroes can be unlocked on the App Store for $4.99, £2.99, €4.49, AU$5.49 on October 23. All three episodes will launch on Google Play and Amazon App Store on October 23 in French, German, Spanish, Russian and Brazilian Portuguese. The first episode will be reduced to $2.99/£1.99/€2.69 during launch week across all platforms. To play Episode 3: Ones and Zeroes, both previous episodes must be purchased, though they do not have to be played. Players can purchase the Season Pass for $14.99/£10.49/€13.99, granting access to all five installments once they are available, and includes added content including video documentaries and in-game commentaries from Camouflaj.

République is still on track for a PC and Mac release in 2014. For more information, visit www.camouflaj.com.
