From the Press Release
Kabam, a world leader in free-to-play games for traditional players, in partnership with Netmarble Games Corp., the leading Korean digital entertainment company and number one mobile publisher in South Korea, announced Creature Academy, a fast-paced action RPG mobile game where fearsome monsters are captured, tamed, and unleashed in battle. Creature Academy is available today for free download on the App Store and Google Play.
“With its engaging gameplay, intense boss battles, hundreds of fascinating characters and convenient features like auto-play, it’s no wonder Creature Academy is one of the biggest games in South Korea.” said Kabam Publishing President Amit Ranade. “Kabam is excited to bring this next generation mobile RPG to the western market.”
Creature Academy invites players to Eloi Academy, a prestigious, fictional institution where they must learn to master the darkness and train creatures. Players will embark on an epic quest to explore dangerous dungeons and battle the most ferocious creatures while searching for new companions and epic loot. Immediately immersed into a vivid land of imagination, players must test their combat skills against other creature tamers, join forces with friends in battle and evolve captured creatures into awesome beasts with devastating powers. With a unique touch screen combat system, players control monsters and activate their skills in real time and work to assemble a monster dream team with over 200 creatures to strengthen and upgrade.
The debut of Creature Academy stems from Kabam’s previously announced partnership with Netmarble Games Corp. (Formerly CJ E&M Netmarble), to bring a new mobile title from Korea to western audiences. Creature Academy, known as Taming Monster in Korea, currently performs as one of Korea’s most popular mobile games and continues to be one of the top five games on the Korean App Store and Google Play top grossing charts.
Creature Academy is the latest title from Kabam Publishing to join Kabam’s roster of hit games adapted from Asian markets including: Wartune: Hall of Heroes, Blades of Excalibur and Kings of the Realm. For more information on Creature Academy and Kabam, visit www.kabam.com.
