Daedalic Entertainment Publishing Mimimi Productions Next Project

Daedalic Entertainment has announced that it will be publishing Mimimi Productions' next project. The Munich-based independent developer is known for its games like The Last Tinker: City of Colors. Ready to learn more? Read on to see what all gamers can expect from the new partnership.

From the Press Release
Daedalic Entertainment will publish the next project of Munich-based independent developer Mimimi Productions, both companies announced today. Mimimi Productions is best known for its award-winning multi-platform title, The Last Tinker: City of Colors, released to critical acclaim in early 2014.

The new project from Mimimi Productions and Daedalic Entertainment will be a real-time tactical stealth game, and is scheduled to be published in 2016 for the Xbox One™, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft®, the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Windows PC, Mac and Linux.

“Mimimi is without a doubt one of Germany’s best up-and-coming studios. The team already has an outstanding history with multi-platform and international releases. Their impressive work with The Last Tinker: City of Colors has earned them awards such as the “Best Game in Show” award at Casual Connect,” said Carsten Fichtelmann, Founder and CEO of Daedalic Entertainment. “We appreciate their enthusiasm, passion and commitment, and share those same values at Daedalic Entertainment, and expect great things from our partnership.”

Mr. Fichtelmann also commented, “The overall concept and quality of their new project completely won us over, and the game will be an important addition to our catalog, as well as it broadening the core gaming genre. The acknowledgement of such a hardworking studio and such a promising project are even more important to us, as these days, German publishers’ willingness to invest in new concepts seems to be close to zero. We deliberately count on teams that share our own way of thinking and working.”

“We are very proud to have found the optimal publishing partner with Daedalic Entertainment for our new dream project,” said Mimimi CEO Johannes Roth. “Daedalic understands, by virtue of their own experience, what is important to indie-developers, how and where they can support us, and how the markets work. For a core game, which is completely different from our earlier releases, this is especially important to us. We trust them completely to reflect our own enthusiasm and excitement for this game.”
