UE4 POWERS NEW 4D MOTION RIDE
Simuline Inc. has unveiled its newest interactive 4D motion ride, the Valkyrie, at the IAAPA Attractions Expo 2014 in Orlando, Florida. The Valkyrie is one of the first projects to use Unreal Engine 4 in an attraction simulator. The first content to be showcased on the Valkyrie platform is Project HADES, a zombie shooter featuring 60FPS in stereoscopic 3D developed by California-based veteran arcade developer Specular Interactive, Inc.
UNREAL ENGINE MARKETPLACE
Epic just released new assets on the Unreal Engine Marketplace and launched the first-ever Marketplace sale! The UE4 prototype asset pack sale ends November 19.
EAST COAST DEV TOUR
Seats are available for the East Coast Dev Tour, which brings free UE4 workshops to Montreal on November 12 and to Boston on November 14. Epic's senior developers are leading these sessions, and the schedule has been published.
TWITCH HAPPENINGS
On today’s livestream, Technical Writers Lauren Ridge and Wes Bunn will join Community Manager Chance Ivey to reveal new UE4 learning resources, including significant update planned for release within the next 24 hours.
