Interstellar: The Official Movie Novelization (Book Review)

Interstellar: The Official Movie Novelization by Grey Keyes released on November 11, 2014 from Titan Books. The book release is based on the film by Christopher Nolan which follows the journey of a group of explorers who find a wormhole that surpasses the limitations of human space travel. The stakes are high and readers must hold on for the bumpy adventure that awaits ahead. Read on to learn more.

Interstellar: The Official Movie Novelization allows fans of the movie to get inside the characters heads with more emphasis on the plot and story. In the movie, fans may feel a little overwhelmed by the over-the-top movie effects and loud soundtrack which often drowns out the character's dialogue, but the book manages to explain everything in a simpler context. The complexity of Interstellar movie can be a bit much for some and the novel helps to fill in the gaps and make it a more enjoyable experience.

Interstellar starts out with the Earth reaching its ending days with crops failing around the world. All is not lost, however, once humans discover a wormhole near Saturn that allows astronauts to travel to the far beyonds of the galaxy. Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) and his crew set out to find out what happened to a crew that went missing almost a decade earlier while exploring the option of sending Earth's entire population through the wormhole to a more sustainable planet. The intriguing plot of Interstellar is often overshadowed by the music composed by Hans Zimmer for the film which literally washes out most of the character dialogue. However, Interstellar: The Official Movie Novelization allows readers to finally hear what the characters have to say in a manner that can be easily understood. In the end, Interstellar: The Official Movie Novelization is a must-have book for fans of the Interstellar movie. Most of the time the book is meant to compliment the film, but in this case, you actually need to experience both the novel and the movie for an enjoyable experience! If you have or plan on watching the new film by Christopher Nolan then plan on buying the official novelization by Greg Keyes for the perfect Interstellar adventure!

Interstellar: The Official Movie Novelization is now available from Titan Books and can be purchased for $7.99. For more information on Interstellar: The Official Movie Novelization, check out the official Titan Books website.
