Sleepy Giant announced the re-branding of the company as “adaptiv.io” with a new focus on its next generation cross-channel and cross-platform marketing automation system for app publishers and marketers. The "former" Sleepy Giant had been serving game publishers including Disney and Activision for more than seven years. With its talented team of engineers, the company has built proprietary technology for developing, publishing and operating games – and designed a unique and comprehensive automation engine using real-time data that has been the core focus of this re-brand. With today’s news, adaptiv.io is inviting select partners into a private beta of its mobile marketing automation platform.

David Lee, President and co-founder of adaptiv.io, said: “We have transformed our company into adaptiv.io with a renewed focus on mobile marketing automation because this is where the industry is clearly headed. Automation is becoming the fastest growing CRM-related segment enabling marketers to engage with their customers across many platforms. Our proprietary event-processing automation engine makes it easy to dramatically maximize revenue and user engagement. Whether you're running a multi-channel and multi-platform campaign, and leveraging a third party analytics service, email service, in-app messaging provider – our platform can integrate with your campaign and increase its effectiveness through both out-of-the-box and custom automation actions.”

Michael Oiknine, CEO of Apsalar, a leading Enterprise Mobile Measurement and Intelligence company, said: “The integration between measurement platforms and marketing automation solutions can yield strategic value to mobile app marketers by allowing them to maximize the efficiency of interactions with their users. We’re excited about adaptiv.io’s platform and we’re looking forward to seeing adaptiv.io’s proprietary automation engine take the evolving enterprise mobility market into its next phase of growth.”

Rick Hess, Co-Managing Partner of Evolution Media Capital (EMC), an investor in adaptiv.io through its Evolution Media Partners, a joint venture with TPG Growth, Participant Media, and EMC, said: “adaptiv.io’s team has extensive experience and expertise in building next-generation technologies and we are looking forward to this new automation platform meeting the needs of today’s complex marketing programs.”

adaptiv.io integrates multiple data sources from a growing library of third party messaging and analytics providers with a complex event processing engine. App publishers and marketers can access a standard set of rules or build unique events that meet their specific needs. The end result is a highly advanced platform that creates truly actionable analytics that engage users for increased retention and monetization.

App publishers can leverage adaptiv.io’s robust and flexible platform for reaching customer segments and cohorts based on certain behavior patterns and attributes to offer real-time, as well as pre-defined, pricing structures, different virtual goods, incentives, and promotions. For example, adaptiv.io can show different commerce stores or pricing in the app to a specific user or segment.
