Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con Taking Place This January Headlined By Walking Dead's Norman Reedus

Wizard World has announced new details for the 2015 schedule that includes Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con set to take place January 9-11, 2015 with headliners such as Norman Reedus, Tom Felton and more. Read on.

Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) gets its 2015 schedule off to a big start with its fifth trip to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center at Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con, January 9-11. Norman Reedus (“The Walking Dead,” Boondock Saints), Ian Somerhalder and Paul Welsey (“The Vampire Diaries”), Tom Felton (Harry Potter, Rise of the Planet of the Apes), Brett Dalton (“Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,), Kevin Conroy (“Batman, The Animated Series,” “Justice League”), WWE® Divas The Bella Twins™, Michael Cudlitz (“The Walking Dead,” “Southland”) and Sarah Wayne Callies (“The Walking Dead,” “Prison Break”) headline the roster of celebrity guests scheduled to attend the pop culture extravaganza.


Reedus, Felton, Dalton and Cudlitz will attend on Saturday and Sunday, January 10-11; Somerhalder, Wesley and the Bellas will appear on Saturday only; Conroy and Callies are scheduled for all three days of the event.

Other well-known Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con guests include Mark McGrath (musician, “Sugar Ray”), Caity Lotz (“Arrow,” The Pact I & II), the “Charmed” trio of Holly Marie Combs, Shannen Doherty and Brian Krause, Morena Baccarin (“Homeland,” “Stargate SG-1”), William Kircher (The Hobbit trilogy), Scott Wilson (“The Walking Dead,” Dead Man Walking), Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy, “The Walking Dead”), Andrew J. West (“The Walking Dead”), Karyn Parsons (“The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”), Jason David Frank (“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”) and Lou Ferrigno (“The Incredible Hulk”).

Wizard World is also the home of the most creative comics artists and writers on the planet. Artist Alley at New Orleans Comic Con will feature Mark Bagley (“Fantastic Four,” “JLA”), Pasqual Ferry (“Wolverine,” “X-Men”), David Baldeón (“The Amazing Spider-Man,” “Wolverine”), Michael Cho (“Batman,” “Black and White”), Phil Ortiz (“The Simpsons,” “Muppet Babies”), Ken Kelly (“KISS Album Covers,” “Micronauts”), Joe Caramagna (“Iron Man & The Iron Wars,” “Marvel Universe Ultimate Spider-Man”), Ethan Van Sciver (“Green Lantern,” “Justice League”), Rob Guillory (“Chew”), Kody Chamberlain (“Sweets,” “Punks”) and many others.

In addition, all full-price Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con attendees will receive a limited edition exclusive variant cover “The Walking Dead” comic, drawn by one of Wizard World's talented artist guests (to be announced shortly). Comics will be issued at registration while supplies last and VIP attendees will receive an additional black & white sketch version.

Wizard World Comic Con events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, cosplay, comics, television, sci-fi, toys, video gaming, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more. Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con show hours are Friday, January 9, 3-8 p.m.; Saturday, January 10, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday, January 11, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. New Orleans Comic Con is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character – and some never before dreamed – will roam the convention floor.
