Audible Studios Announces Release of Full Metal Jacket Diary

Audible Studios has announced that the audiobook version of Full Metal Jacket Diary by Matthew Modine is now available with over three hours and forty-one minutes of narration. Read on to learn more.

This week, Audible Studios released the audiobook version of FULL METAL JACKET DIARY, Matthew Modine’s memorable book about his role starring as Private Joker in Stanley Kubrick’s 1987 Vietnam War Masterpiece. The limited edition book of this diary, which came out in 2005, later became an interactive experience for the iPad, but this new audiobook is the very first time that fans can listen to Modine himself as he narrates the diary with sound effects and original music!

In 1985, Stanley Kubrick encouraged Matthew Modine to keep a journal and take photographs while playing the lead role of Pvt. In 2005, Modine published a limited edition book of his diary and photos which later became an interactive experience for the iPad. Now, with the Full Metal Jacket Diary audiobook, fans can listen to Modine as he performs his diary with sound effects and original music.
