Chain Chronicle Now Available For iOS and Android Devices

Sega has announced that Chain Chronicle is now available for iOS and Android devices. Read on.

SEGA Networks co., Ltd. and gumi Inc. have announced that the hotly anticipated line defense role playing game Chain Chronicle is officially out now on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store in the US, Canada, Australia and the U.K. The title will be published in other regions, including Southeast Asia, at a later date. Chain Chronicle is a free strategy game with optional in-app purchases of virtual items.

A collaboration between two of the industry’s leading game publishing and developing parties, SEGA Networks Japan is renowned for mobile puzzle RPG game Puyo Puyo!! Quest, while gumi Inc. is responsible for publishing the hit mobile JRPG Brave Frontier. The original Chain Chronicle game has already been downloaded over four million times in its native country of Japan since its initial launch for iOS and Android in July 2013.

In Chain Chronicle, you play the role of a captain tasked with battling the invading Black Army in hopes of keeping them from destroying the continent of Yggdra. You must gather and lead a volunteer army of Soldiers, Knights, Wizards, Clerics, and Archers to protect your base from oncoming enemies. Throughout your adventures, you will meet allies with different skills and tales of their own to lead this epic story.

Additionally, two new chapters of Chain Chronicle will be released for the first time outside of Japan and in the English language. The new chapters, Chapter 5 and Chapter 6, expand upon the epic tale of the heroes and feature new main quests set in the mysterious Soul Island. The new storylines will also have brand new characters for players to recruit like Desert Idol Sasha the archer and Silver Wolf Guide Barienna the knight.
