Light in the Dark Free Now Available For Mobile Devices

Dreamgate Studios has announced that players can now download Light in the Dark Free for iOS, Android and Windows mobile devices. The new title will allow players to try out 18 brand-new levels that wasn't available in the paid version that previously released. Read on.

From the Press Release
Gamers who want to challenge themselves with a free brain-teasing puzzle game can download Dreamgate Studios’ light-bending color-blending title Light in the Dark Free for iOS, Android and Windows Phone devices. This new game provides something for fans of the franchise and those not familiar with it. The title consists of 18 levels not included in the previously released paid version of Light in the Dark.

Like the original Light in the Dark, the free release begins with the discovery that a cute undiscovered species called Totems have lost their babies in an ancient Egyptian tomb. Players must complete puzzles and avoid enemies to help the parent Totems find their children.

Totem families are only reunited when the correct color light shines onto the babies. Gamers can manipulate light by repositioning parent Totems, using mirrors to bend beams and blending colors together to create new ones.

Those who download Light in the Dark Free will get 12 levels, including 2 challenge stages. Players can receive an additional 6 levels, which also entails one challenge mission, by sharing the game on social media via the app. Gamers can access challenge stages after spotlighting three stars on the standard levels.

Light in the Dark Free is available at the App Store, Google Play and Windows Phone Apps+Games Store.

Gamers who enjoy the free version can purchase the original Light in the Dark for $1.99 USD on the App Store, Google Play and Windows Phone Apps+Games Store. If players are stumped by a puzzle they can also ask for hints, which are purchasable via microtransactions.
