Dexter's Laboratory Classics Volume 2 (Comic Review)

Dexter's Laboratory was one of the most beloved animated series during the 90s and 2000s. With IDW Publishing's release of Dexter's Laboratory Classics Volume 2, fans of the series will experience even more stories from one of their favorite cartoons of all-time.

The new release features never before seen content from series creator Genndy Tartakovsky and originally published by DC Comics. Dexter's Laboratory Classics Volume 2 includes multiple issues in a single compilation for $19.99. The collection is a bit on the pricey for those that aren't already fans of the Dexter's Laboratory comic series, but fans will greatly enjoy the large amount of new content for the series including in this new volume.

Dexter's Laboratory originally debuted on Cartoon Network back in 1996, and the cartoon series is one of the biggest series ever released on the channel. The show follows the antics of a brilliant young scientist named Dexter and his eccentric family. The Dexter's Laboratory comic series continues the stories told in the highly popular cartoon, and Dexter's Laboratory Classics Volume 2 includes issues of the comic series that were previously unreleased. The comics include content from the show's original creator as well as stories written by four different authors that each bring unique stories and fun humor for fans of the series

Dexter's Laboratory Classics Volume 2 includes appearances from great series characters including Dexter's sister DeeDee and his nemesis Mandark. Fans of Dexter's Laboratory will find stories in the new comics collection that closely resemble some episodes of the show. The comics exude the same humor of the show and will have fans laughing throughout the 140 pages of content included in the new volume. There are more than enough comics and stories for fans to read in the collection, though newcomers to the series may want to pick up single volumes and test the series before dropping $19.99 on the new volume.

Dexter's Laboratory Classics Volume 2 is a fun read that brings back one of the biggest cartoon series of the 90s. The influential cartoon series helped launched one of the most popular cable and satellite channels on television, and the show led to many spin-offs shows that continue to air on the channel to date. The comic series weaves even more tales for the franchise and is a fun read full of good jokes and unforgettable characters. Dexter's Laboratory Classics Volume 2 is worth picking up for fans of the series. The collection's price tag may put it out of reach for those looking to try the comic series for the first time, but luckily for these readers, IDW Publishing offers single issues of Dexter's Laboratory for sale on their website. Dexter's Laboratory Classics Volume 2 is out now from IDW Publishing.

Dexter's Laboratory Classics Volume 2 is now available from IDW Publishing and can be purchased for $19.99. For more information on Dexter's Laboratory Classics Volume 2, check out the official IDW Publishing website.
