Petroglyph has announced the release of a new launch trailer for Grey Goo to give gamers a peak at the unique identities and motivations of the three races. Read on.

From the Press Release
With only seven days to go until the release of Grey Goo, developer Petroglyph has partnered with Grey Box to reveal the exciting official launch trailer for this original sci-fi real-time strategy game. Equal parts world-building and destruction, this new video sets the stage for the events of Grey Goo, igniting with the collision of three species – the Betas, the Humans and the enigmatic Goo. Each race went to the stars with a purpose… but now the only purpose that matters is survival. And if you’ve missed it previously, the Grey Goo factions video series goes deeper into the unique identities and motivations of the three races shown in the launch trailer, providing a detailed unit and base breakdown for each side in this conflict.

Returning to their RTS roots, Petroglyph’s Grey Goo offers vintage RTS gameplay with a focus on what players love about the genre. The game takes the best and most fun aspects of base-building, unit management and tense warfare and melds them together in new ways, as players assume command of one of three distinctive factions, while experiencing an immersive sci-fi story that unfolds throughout the game’s single-player campaign. Grey Goo breathes new life into the RTS genre by blending classic, established gameplay mechanics and tropes with modern design tools and technology to create a thoughtful, exhilarating strategy experience.

The battle begins when Grey Goo arrives on PC via Steam on January 23, 2015. For more information, please visit www.greygoo.com, and follow along at www.facebook.com/GreyGooGame and www.twitter.com/GreyGooGame.
