SMITE World Championship Kicks Off Today With Millions In Prize Money Up For Grabs

Hi-Rez Studios has announced that the SMITE World Championship will soon be kicking off at Atlanta's Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre with teams from four regions battling for $2,612,260. Gamers will also get to learn more about SMITE for Xbox One during the World Championship with tons of exciting news to come. Read on.

In just a couple hours, the SMITE World Championship will be kicking off at Atlanta's Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. The world’s most elite SMITE teams from four regions are converging on Atlanta for three days of intense battles with $2,612,260 on the line.


The entire event will be live streamed for free at http://twitch.tv/smitegame, culminating in a best of five grand final competition on Sunday.

More information on SMITE for Xbox One will also be revealed during the World Championship. For those interested in being part of the upcoming Xbox One beta test, a registration page has been posted here.
