FUGITIVE GAMES ANNOUNCES ‘INTO THE SKY’
This week, it was announced that two former DICE developers from the Battlefield, Lost Planet and Shadows of the Damned games have combined to form Fugitive Games. The company launched a Kickstarter campaign for their first title, Into the Stars, an open-world space survival simulation for PC and Mac built in Unreal Engine 4. Since the game’s announcement, the team has raised over $60,000, an impressive 80% of their pledged $85k goal in just three days.
NVIDIA ANNOUNCES TEGRA X1; BRINGS ‘ELEMENTAL’ DEMO TO MOBILE
At the Consumer Electronics Show on Sunday, NVIDIA announced the Tegra X1 processor, a high-end graphics chip for mobile devices. To demonstrate the rendering capabilities of the superchip, NVIDIA showcased Epic’s UE4-powered Elemental demo, which was originally built to push high-end PC and console features, on a tablet.
