Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy+ Ready for Flight on Nintendo 3DS XL

Bandai Namco has announced the launch of their new game Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy+ for Nintendo 3DS. The game's launch coincides with the arrival of the all new Nintendo 3DS XL, and the title utilizes some of the new technology of the system to create an experience like no other. The game also introduces new aircraft and items inspired by other popular video game series from the Nintendo library of franchises such as Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda with Amiibo support for even more fun. Set in an alternate-reality, Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy+ places players into the role of a fighter pilot on a string of missions to prevent the Usean government from spiraling into total collapse. Flight fanatics will be able to launch into campaigns featuring both aerial and ground attack missions and pilot powerful and famous aircraft to deftly complete each mission. Take control of the cockpit with the New Nintendo 3DS XL system’s C Stick, super-stable 3D via face-tracking technology and ZL/ZR Buttons to maneuver through the skies and light up enemy aircraft standing in the way of victory.

Bandai Namco Games America Inc. is especially pleased with its special Nintendo collaboration, giving the aircraft a fantastic visual flair! Shoot open iconic Question Blocks scattered around certain maps to collect the Super Star hidden inside and unlock a Nintendo-themed aircraft skin. The aircraft will feature Nintendo character favorite skins such as Donkey Kong, Peach, Mario, Luigi, Bowser and PAC-MAN. Avid collectors will also be able to enjoy collecting aircraft available through the amiibo functionality to pilot a host of amiibo-exclusive skins including Zelda, Star Fox, Captain Falcon, Samus and more.
