Narborion Saga Book II: The God of Orcs Coming To Mobile Devices For Free

Liber Primus Games has announced that Narborion Saga Book II: The God of Orcs will make its way to iOS and Android devices this March.

From the Press Release
Indie developer Liber Primus Games today announced that its second handheld fantasy adventure app will break new ground in the app sector through brand new storytelling innovation. Narborion Saga Book II: The God of Orcs is releasing in March for free on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iTouch, as well as Amazon Kindle Fire and Android on Google Play.

Narborion Saga Book II: The God of Orcs is the second book in the Narborion series, which continues the popular theme as an epic fantasy story that writes itself as you play. Written by Sylvia Finali and Dr Tom Pollak, a professional novelist and former editor in chief of Dragon, the popular Dungeons & Dragons role playing game magazine. Narborion Saga Book II: The God of Orcs will introduce an entirely new game engine called SagaScribe which will provide readers with even more customizable options and features to make the story truly their own.

“The response we got from the first book was amazing. It allowed us to focus on what RPG fans wanted more of and to utilize essential community feedback to improve Book 2”, said Dénes Csiszár, Producer and Co-Founder of Liber Primus Games. “We’re also really excited to be doing something no other RPG game book is doing in the app market”.

Narborion Saga Book II: The God of Orcs will aim to introduce a radical new feature that crosses the boundaries of traditional tabletop RPG’s into a gamebook by allowing readers to scan an image of their carefully crafted and painted table top figurine into the game. A range of other enhancements for in-game character creation, spell crafting and arena fight training against multiple enemies is also being introduced and will coincide with new updated content on a monthly basis.

Traditional paperback gamebooks, or CYOA (Choose Your Own Adventure) books as they were also called, were popular during the late 1980’s and are currently experiencing a digital revival of sorts. Liber Primus has overhauled the combat and progression aspects of its latest game book in a bid to break new ground in the app marketplace.
