The all-day free event will feature the first Southern California Settlers of Catan qualifier of 2015, eSports tournaments, insane break-dancing competitions and crazy combat juggling, plus several other popular games, cash prizes and special appearances by famous gaming personalities.

Oomba’s wOOt! event – a competition-filled, day-long affair – will be highlighted by Settlers of Catan and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 tournaments, with special guest appearances by:

  • 2014 Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 EVO Champion Justin Wong;

Event guests can romance their Valentine with a game of Super Smash Bros., while those with a daring streak can learn the secrets of Japanese Kendama and combat juggling with free workshops – and even take on professional gamer, Justin Wong, in an Ultra Street Fighter IV match.

The winner of the Catan tournament will receive a grand prize of all travel expenses paid to Gen Con 2015 and a seat in the 2015 Catan National Championship. Oomba also will be awarding cash prizes and other wild giveaways to event participants.
