Troy Baker Nominated For Best Performer At The BAFTA Games Awards
The nominations have been announced for the British Academy Games Awards of 2015 with video game actor Troy Baker being nominated for Best Performer at the BAFTA Games Awards.

Critically acclaimed video game actor, Troy Baker, is nominated for “Best Performer” at the BAFTA Games Awards
The nominations for the British Academy Games Awards of 2015 have been announced, and prominent game actor, Troy Baker, is nominated as “Best Performer” for his captivating performance as Pagan Min in Far Cry 4. When discussing the creation of the antagonist, Troy said, “Far Cry games have always been known for their villains. We crafted a character that fits within the realms of Far Cry but still feels unique to this story.”
Troy also starred in some of BAFTA’s top nominated games, highlighting Troy’s huge presence in the video game industry throughout 2014. For example, Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor received four nominations including the coveted “Best Game” category.
Troy enjoyed huge success during the 18th Annual D.I.C.E awards presentation on Thursday February 5th. Troy and the Monolith team celebrated their huge victories as Middle-Earth Shadow Of Mordor won an impressive 8 total awards, far surpassing any other game at the ceremony. Troy’s dramatic role as protagonist, Talion, won the team the “Outstanding Achievement in Character” award. In response to this huge triumph, Troy commented, “I'm just thrilled to have been a part of creating a character that as a gamer, I'm proud to play.”
In addition to his huge successes as a video game actor, Troy recently released his debut album, Sitting In The Fire featuring the hit single My Religion. Sitting in the Fire is an eclectic offering of rock n’ roll that seamlessly blends the electronic and organic, revealing strong influences of early U2, INXS, Muse and Jeff Buckley.
The BAFTA Game Awards take place Thursday March 12th at the Tobacco Dock in London.
