BoxPop Announced as Launch Title for Apple Watch

Apple announced BoxPop as one of two games coming soon to Apple Watch during the Apple "Spring Forward" event earlier this week. BoxPop will feature 40 levels of box smashing gameplay where players attempt to take out all boxes on screen using L-shaped patterns. BoxPop will be made available at launch for Apple Watch on April 24, while the second announced game Rules! will release at a later date.

From the makers of the blockbuster music trivia game SongPop, BoxPop is a fun and addictive puzzle game originally launched on iOS in 2014. As an Apple Watch app, it’ll take advantage of the accessibility of the new platform to deliver new, innovative ways to play, and will add unique daily puzzles built exclusively for the device. The game pits players against thousands of levels of increasingly challenging puzzles - they'll need to pop all the provided boxes without getting stuck or doubling back in order to progress.
