ScreamRide (Video Game Review)

Microsoft Studios and Frontier Developments has announced the release of ScreamRide for Xbox One and Xbox 360. Gamers can start to download the new title starting today for $39.99.

The new title reinvents the builder/action genre with fun new mechanics and gameplay that will keep you coming back for more! Your imagination can dream up anything you desire in ScreamRide and players have the ability to share their creations with friends!

ScreamRide gives gamers the ability to play in "Career" mode where they can test their skills out across three different career paths (Screamrider, Engineer and Demolition Expert). If you have an anchoring to create your own incredible coasters, rides and scenery then head over to "Sandbox" mode to turn them into playable levels or experiment. Lastly, share your creations with the world through the "Level Center" and gain access to new gameplay with fun DLC.
ScreamRide starts out with a voice-guided tour in Career mode with its vibrant visuals and fun animations that take you on a crazy ride into the Populous Labs. You have to prove your abilities at Populous Labs in order to advance to the challenges ahead. The point of ScreamRider is to get around the track as fast as possible while racking up tons of points in the process. Points are earned by getting faster times, reaching dangerously high speeds and balancing on two-wheels. Additionally, you will gain the ability to score more points throughout the game as you increase your security clearance level. Sounds pretty exciting doesn't it?

The characters in ScreamRide almost reminds you of EA's Sims due to their over enthusiastic expressions. Once you have completed the first level of the game then you Security Clearance will increase to Level 1 which unlocks new levels, screamrider and more. As you pass objectives and advanced into new levels--there are a ton of commendations and bonus challenges to obtain--which adds a great deal of replayability to each new level.

ScreamRide contains incredibly addictive gameplay mechanics that keep the overall game fun and fresh. The controls are not only responsive but easy to master while taking on challenging new levels within the game.

It is unbelievable that a game that is so simple in nature could be so amazingly fun to play. When performing as a screamrider, gamers are tasked with riding the coasters and pressing (X) at certain times to accelerate, and then gaining points by doing the impossible like getting up on two wheels.

However, a Demolition Expert is all about demolishing things, by throwing two tests subjects tucked away in a cozy round cabin into buildings. After testing out your power and destroying skills--then see what cool things you can build as a Engineer. Creating the perfect rollercoaster isn't easy and requires precise track placement for maximum efficiency and scream rider excitement.

In the end, ScreamRide is incredibly addictive and fun which means we totally recommend picking up this title! Let your imagination run wild and create your very own rollercoaster masterpiece with ScreamRide.

ScreamRide will release for Xbox 360 ($29.99) and Xbox One ($39.99) on March 3, 2015. ScreamRide is rated E10+ by the ESRB. For more information on the game, check out the official ScreamRide website.

Master Your Aim: Why Every FPS Gamer Needs a Mouse Sensitivity Converter

Say goodbye to floaty aiming and missed flick shots. Here is how math—and a simple tool—can keep your muscle memory razor-sharp across every shooter you play. When Your Brain Is Just Trying to Survive: What Prolonged Emotional Abuse, Betrayal, and Fear Do to You

There is something people often do not understand about prolonged emotional abuse: You do not simply “get over it.” You do not experience one hurtful event, cry about it, and wake up the next morning as the same person you were before. When someone repeatedly experiences betrayal, manipulation, control, isolation, emotional punishment, surveillance, instability, and fear, the effects can reach far beyond the relationship itself. They can change how a person thinks, sleeps, reacts, remembers, communicates, trusts, and even understands their own emotions. Sometimes, the person who has been hurt begins to wonder if they are the problem. Why am I crying so much? Why can't I calm down? Why do I keep checking? Why can't I just leave? Why do I feel exhausted all the time? Why do I keep trying to explain my pain to someone who keeps hurting me? The answer is often not that the person is weak, dramatic, or “crazy.” Sometimes, their brain is trying to survive. When Your Home...
