Scrabble Now Available for Xbox One and PS4

Hasbro and Ubisoft has announced that Scrabble is now available for Xbox One and PS4 for $14.99.

From the Press Release
Today, Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS) and Ubisoft® announced that SCRABBLE – a console game based on the classic word-spelling game – is now available to purchase in the United States. The SCRABBLE console game can be downloaded through the Hasbro Game Channel online, or on Xbox Live for Xbox One and on PlayStation Network for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system for $14.99.

The SCRABBLE console game allows up to four players to go head-to-head in a variety of different game modes. Players can compete against their friends in person and online, or test their skills by playing with challenging virtual opponents of varying difficulty levels.

The SCRABBLE console game introduces an engaging and seamless multiplayer experience that lets you play against players from all over the country. Players will be matched against opponents of similar skill levels in one of three multiplayer gameplay modes. Classic mode follows the standard SCRABBLE game rules while the Time Attack mode pushes players to move quickly by allowing only 45 seconds for each turn. In Score Rush mode, collecting points early in the game is important as the first player to reach a specific score will be the winner.

The SCRABBLE console game is part of the collaboration between Hasbro and Ubisoft for the Hasbro Game Channel. A premiere destination for strategy game entertainment, Hasbro Game Channel provides access to classic and reinvented versions of your favorite Hasbro board games. The channel also provides a social layer to each game by leveraging the consoles’ connected capabilities and motion-cameras to enrich the in-game experience. The SCRABBLE console game is available to download through the Hasbro Game Channel for Xbox One and PS4 and via Xbox Live and PSN for $14.99.
