Game Music Connect Reveals Final Speakers For The September 15 Conference

Game Music Connect has announced the final speakers for its third annual international video game music conference on September 15.

Game Music Connect organizers today revealed the final speakers to be added to an already illustrious and unprecedented line-up for its third annual international video game music conference which returns to The Purcell Room at London's Southbank Centre on September 15.


Rocksteady Studios' resident 'BATMAN' composer/audio director Nick Arundel ('Batman: Arkham Knight', 'Batman: Arkham City', 'Batman: Arkham Asylum') and renowned conductor Allan Wilson ('Fable' and 'Harry Potter' video game series, 'Avengers: Age of Ultron') will join Sony Computer Entertainment America's Director of Music, Chuck Doud and COOL Music CEO/Composer Agent, Darrell Alexander for a high-powered roundtable discussion on recording live orchestra for video games, "Score To Studio 2". Game Music Connect returns with both new and previous panel members featuring eminent special guest composer/audio director for the 'BATMAN' video games series, Nick Arundel - to discuss the complex commissioning and delivery process which lies behind orchestral video game music while employing a small army of executives, audio directors, talent agents, orchestral contractors, conductors, musicians, recording staff and implementers. Score To Studio 2 seeks to pull the curtains back on how this extraordinary machine works, highlighting the specific challenges which video game projects present compared with other entertainment media.
