Evel Knievel Jumps Its Way To Apple TV

Barnstorm Games has revealed that gamers can now pick up the Evel Knievel game for Apple TV.

Barnstorm Games today announced that the launch of an Apple TV App based on the original daredevil hero, Evel Knievel. The launch by Barnstorm, publisher of #1 Apps The Chase, Tipping Point and Mensa Brain Test, follows the successful launch of the Evel Knievel iOS App last week, which has already become the #1 Racing Game on iPad in 43 countries and #1 in 28 on iPhone. The game gives players the opportunity to perform all of the outrageous jumps and stunts at the same historic sites where Evel himself performed them! Everyone, from kids to extreme sport and motorcycle fans, can now get in on the action on Apple TV®, their iPhone, iPod® touch, iPad® and iPad mini™. Fans can make one App purchase from the App Store and play across all of the Apple devices (listed above) for $1.99/£1.49/€1.99.


The App takes players on a wild ride as Evel jumps rattlesnakes and lions working his way up to 13 London buses and the famed fountain jump in Las Vegas! Players will need to use the intuitive Apple TV remote to negotiate a series of exciting obstacles including barrels, seesaws and flaming hoops, before tackling 27 challenging jumps in nine historic locations. Additionally, fans can earn in-game currency from completing jumps to buy loads of fantastic motorcycles and outfits including Evel's iconic white and blue leathers and the awesome Jet-Powered Stratocycle! Now gamers can have fun performing wheelies, flips and loops whilst on the go, or on a HD TV from the comfort of their home!
