From the Press Release
With incredible industry buzz, fan-fueled acclaim and 11 days left in their crowdfunding campaign, Lab Zero, developers of fan-favorite fighting game Skullgirls, has released a Steam version of their much-talked about playable prototype for their new action/RPG game, Indivisible. The free Steam download showcases the game’s unique art style and fusion of platforming and RPG gameplay, giving players a small but representative taste of the masterpiece Lab Zero is creating.
The prototype was funded by 505 Games and Lab Zero is using the prototype as a proof of concept to raise funds to continue development for Indivisible. Using Indiegogo, Lab Zero seeks to raise $1,500,000 and should they reach their funding goal, 505 Games will provide the rest of the development budget needed to complete the game. Currently their fundraising efforts have surpassed $1,000,000 dollars, with less than $500,000 needed to reach their goal.
Described by press as “beautiful,” “a gorgeous hand-drawn role-playing game” and an “amazing action RPG,” Indivisible takes a fresh spin on action/RPG gameplay, featuring a deep storyline inspired by Southeast Asian and other world mythologies.
Indivisible is a new RPG IP, starring Ajna (AHZH-na), a girl who sets out on a globe-spanning journey to discover the truth behind her mysterious powers. On her quest, she is joined by a variety of unique heroes and gains new abilities to traverse the environments and defeat the enemies they encounter along the way. Built with the unique characters and gameplay depth Lab Zero is known for as well as trademark feature-quality 2D hand-drawn animation and a lush soundtrack from legendary Secret of Mana composer Hiroki Kikuta further enrich and enhance the game.
The Indivisible playable prototype is FREE and is available to play on Steam, available for download via Playstation Network and for PC at www.indivisiblegame.com.
