Marvel Avengers Academy Gets Limited Time In-Game Event For Mobile Devices

TinyCo and Marvel have announced a new in-game event for MARVEL Avengers Academy.

Further building upon the recent Civil War update, TinyCo and Marvel are proud to announce a brand-new, limited-time in-game event for their highly successful MARVEL Avengers Academy mobile game. This update, available now, centers on Marvel’s beloved iconic character, the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, as he swings into MARVEL Avengers Academy. MARVEL Avengers Academy is available to download for free on the App Store® and Google Play™.

In celebration of the Spider-Man update to MARVEL Avengers Academy, players will have the chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to the premiere of the upcoming film Spider-Man: Homecoming from Sony Pictures Entertainment and Marvel Entertainment just by playing the game. To enter, just download and play the Spider-Man event in MARVEL Avengers Academy.*

After winning the high school science fair with an experiment that impressed Tony Stark during last month’s Civil War update, Peter Parker found himself as an intern at the prestigious Stark Industries. Under the guidance of Tony, Peter secretly hones his powers as the Amazing Spider-Man while learning everything he can from the Avengers Academy and his fellow powerful peers. Young, ambitious, and extremely quick-witted (perhaps too much so for his own good), Peter’s personal journey only continues to grow in this brand new update for MARVEL Avengers Academy.

The notorious Norman Osborn opens The Osborn Private Science Institution right next door to the Avengers Academy. Claiming to have invented the “Symbiotech” technology, he aims to create the world’s greatest super-suits. Together, Norman and his star protégé, Doctor Octopus, build their army of gadgets and machines with the goal of taking over S.H.I.E.L.D, the Avengers Academy, and total world domination.

Intent on finding out what Osborn and his henchmen are up to, Peter begins a brand new internship at the new Daily Bugle satellite office located at the Avengers Academy. Well-versed in the suspicious activities of Osborn and using his keen Spider-Senses, Peter gathers his Super Hero classmates in order to defeat the likes of Green Goblin, Doc Ock and the rest of the Sinister Six. The world will depend on Spider-Man and his Super Hero crew as the evil symbiote powerhouses, Venom and Carnage, pose the largest threat ever seen in MARVEL Avengers Academy.

Also, players on Android™ devices will be able to earn a free download of the first five episodes of Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man animated TV series exclusively on Google Play when they unlock certain Spider-Man characters in the game. Upon unlocking each of the requisite characters, players on Android™ devices simply need to tap the “redeem” button in the event’s redemption hub to download the TV episodes.
