Marking the event’s 21st year, id Software and Bethesda Softworks are pleased to announce that QuakeCon 2016 will once again host several charitable organizations to give back to the valued community that has given the annual event over two decades of support. This year, id Software and Bethesda Softworks are partnering with the American Red Cross, 1Up On Cancer, Dallas Pets Alive, and Extra Life.

"We're honored to host these amazing charities at QuakeCon this year," said Pete Hines, VP of PR and Marketing, Bethesda Softworks. “Giving back to the community is extremely important to us, and we’ve got a wonderful group of attendees that come to QuakeCon year after year to lend their support to great causes.”

QuakeCon 2016, a four-day video game festival featuring North America’s largest BYOC (Bring-Your-Own-Computer) LAN Party, will host the charitable organizations at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas beginning Thursday, August 4 through Sunday, August 7, 2016.
