Black & White Bushido Coming To Xbox One and PS4 This September

Good Catch announces new details for Black & White Bushido.

Global content creator, producer and distributor Endemol Shine Group today announced the launch of games developer and publishing label Good Catch. Wholly owned by Endemol Shine Group, Good Catch will create high quality, entertainment focused games, across multiple platforms for global audiences.

The first console title from Good Catch will see Black & White Bushido head to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this September as a digital download priced at $9.99. Already available on Steam, via Green Man Gaming, the console version adds online multiplayer, two new difficulty levels, alongside gameplay and graphical enhancements. All of these additions will be automatically added to the PC version.

A 2D brawler for up to four players, Black & White Bushido takes the gentle game of hide and seek and injects it with razor sharp samurai swords. Each of the Black & White Bushido’s arenas are cleverly divided into distinct monochrome sections which the two opposing forces, Team Light and Team Shadow, must use tactically to secure victory. Lurk in the dark or blend into the light before launching an attack on an unsuspecting enemy.

With five different arenas to choose from, players can engage in one of three modes, capture the flag, death match or training and can play in 4 player local and online multiplayer plus a single player challenge mode.

Previously Endemol Shine UK’s head of Apps and Games, Anil Mistry takes up the role of Managing Director, Good Catch and commented: “This is an exciting opportunity to build an engaging portfolio of games across all platforms with well known global brands and new games IP. Endemol Shine is a company built on creativity and coupled with technical delivery, Good Catch are well placed to turn great ideas into great games.”
