Forced Showdown: Drone Invasion (Video Game Review)


BetaDwarf has released Drone Invasion, the first expansion for Forced Showdown.

Forced Showdown is a brawler that is powered by its fantastic deckbuilding gameplay. Characters deliver a wide variety of unique experiences with the ability to choose a deck of unlockable cards to amplify your abilities in battle. The new Drone Invasion expansion pack gives players new campaigns, bosses and worlds to explore. Gamers will get the chance to play as the mech contestant Settsu while exploring The Mentor's Maze featuring R3-KT. If you have been looking to battle some new enemies while obtaining new cards, modifiers and quests in Forced Showdown then Drone Invasion can do just that.



Drone Invasion
features the new playable contestant Settsu who is a a former soldier with a powerful mech suit. The new character brings a lot of variety to Forced Showdown's gameplay allowing gamers to test out some new abilities and combat mechanics. The expansion also adds 22 new cards with some that include the new keyword Dismantle. The ability to boost your current deck with these new cards can really bring a new level of immersion to the deckbuilding aspects of Forced Showdown.

However, the best part of the new content released for Forced Showdown is the addition of the Drone World. Players get the chance to go to space and explore all of the possibilities that it has to offer. Drone World is a ton of fun and it manages to create hours of additional gameplay. Drone Invasion also adds a new way to play Forced Showdown with the addition of The Mentor's Maze Show with eighteen new quests. Gamers will also face off against a new boss with R3-KT which can be found in the maze. Now it's really time for a showdown!

Drone Invasion also adds ten new enemies, ten boss cards and ten modifiers. This manages to add new challenges and ways to play the game while spicing things up with new tricks for your characters. The new expansion really does add a great amount of content to Forced Showdown and is definitely worth the price.

In the end, Forced Showdown: Drone Invasion offers up a new gameplay experience that lets you explore space alongside 18 new quests in The Mentor's Maze Show.
