Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X Releasing August 30


Sega has announced new details for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X.


Hatsune Miku and friends are back, but they need your help. The light is fading from their world and the only way to restore it is by helping Miku do the one thing she was born to do, perform! Guide her through the five Clouds (Classic, Cute, Cool, Elegant and Quirky) and help her sing, dance, and put on the best shows ever in order to restore the light.

Keep in mind that Miku isn't a one-hit wonder, so an entertainer of her caliber needs to be pushed to grow as an artist. That's why you can test your skill with multiple difficulty levels: EASY, NORMAL, HARD, and EXTREME. There are no shortcuts to stardom! You're also in charge of making sure Miku and her friends accessorize to the max with nearly 300 modules and accessories! Every cloud is different, so be sure to pick the right look in order to maximize the voltage rate bonus and get more points. Want to take a more behind the scenes role? We've got you covered. Step into the director's chair in the new Concert Editor and create your very own live concerts for Miku and friends! Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X features include:

  • Digital Singers Take Over the Living Room - Produce live concerts accessorized to the max with unlockable costumes, songs, and stages to create custom live concerts starring Hatsune Miku and her friends!
  • 30 Miku Tracks - An assortment of new and classic Hatsune Miku music will be yours to jam to! The songs are split into Auras and have different difficulties and challenges to complete. Project DIVA Xincludes new arrangements and medleys by beloved artists as well.
  • Cloud Requests - Go to five different Clouds with Miku and her friends, and explore them and the challenges within. But naturally, selecting the right modules and accessories are key to fulfilling the Requests. There's also Free Play, which offers the traditional experience for Project DIVA games.
  • Interact with Miku and Her Friends - Things start to get very meta for the digital singer as she and her friends discover what it's like to live in the world of Project DIVA X - players can interact with the characters.

As the best entry to the world of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA yet, Project DIVA X will be available on Aug. 30, 2016 in both digital and physical formats in the Americas and Europe for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
