Red Bull Online Proving Grounds Gives Players A Chance To Prove Their Fighting Skills To The World

Red Bull Media announced new details for Online Proving Grounds.


Last night, Red Bull Media House announced Online Proving Grounds, three all-new online events on August 29-30, September 26-27 and October 24-25. The winner from each online event will be awarded an all-expense paid trip to Seattle and entry into the 2016 Capcom Pro Tour North American Finals at Red Bull Battle Grounds. In Seattle, the three winners will have a chance to battle within a 512-person bracket for the title - the best Street Fighter V player in North America.

The first day in each Online Proving Grounds event will be held online followed by an online broadcast at the Red Bull Santa Monica eSports studio the next day. The Online Proving Grounds -- combined with the regional Proving Grounds qualifying stops in Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Toronto -- are part of the first-ever amateur ranking and tournament series for fighting games, culminating in November at the 2016 Capcom Pro Tour North American Finals at Red Bull Battle Grounds, where one champion will be crowned.
