Attack of The Titan Leaves The The TV Screen and Makes Its Way To Consoles and PC

Koei Tecmo has released Attack on Titan for PS4, Xbox One, PS Vita, PS3 and PC.

KOEI TECMO America is proud to announce today the North American release of Attack on Titan, the epic action game based on the world-renowned manga and anime series by the same name. Attack on Titan ships today for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and releases digitally on the PlayStation®Vita handheld system, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Windows PC via Steam®.

Attack on Titan brings the most shocking, courageous and exhilarating moments of the hugely successful anime to life, following the events of the show’s first season and beyond. Taking on the titanic task of saving humankind, players of Attack on Titan will engage in high-flying, high-octane combat as they utilize the trademark Omni-Directional Mobility Gear and ultra-sharp blades to repel the eerily human-like Titans. Upgrading each component of gear—including the scabbard—will be key to successfully slaying Titans, with enhancements for movement speed, blade durability, damage and improved anchors on offer at the camp in-between single and multiplayer missions.

Players will fight as fan-favorite characters such as Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Sasha and Levi, as well as take control of Eren’s powerful Titan form. Growing considerably in size and trading in Titan-slaying gear for devastating melee attacks, this form offers a unique shift in gameplay that gets up close and personal with the gigantic creatures! In addition to the game’s main campaign, players are able to recruit up to three companions online in Scout Mode to venture outside the wall and tackle missions across a variety of different stages, including the Forest of Giant Trees, the Ruined Town, a Farm Village and even the Stohess District.

Those who purchase Attack on Titan on Windows PC via Steam from August 30 until September 2 will receive two bonus DLC costumes. Mikasa’s Summer Festival Costume exchanges her regiment gear for a white summer dress, and the “Clean-up Eren & Levi” costume allows players to show off Levi’s love of cleaning.

To celebrate today’s long-awaited release of Attack on Titan, KOEI TECMO America has released a selection of screenshots and artwork. The recently released, action-packed launch trailer is also on offer, showcasing bold attack moves as well as various types of formidable adversaries not present in the anime’s first season!
