Jingle Bell Chompy Mage Joins Skylanders Imaginators This Holiday Season

Activision has revealed a new Sensei for Skylanders Imaginators with Jingle Bell Chompy Mage.

Jingle Bell Chompy Mage is bringing some holiday fun to Skylanders Imaginators. The new toy is exquisitely designed and adds a great deal of replayability to Skylanders Imaginators alongside a touch of holiday spirit to get you excited for Christmas.

To learn more, visit the official Skylanders Imaginators website.

The holiday season is here at the Skylander Academy, and the Chompy Mage is ready to teach the Skylanders some new fighting techniques and a classic Chompy holiday tradition -- the White Chompy gift exchange! After all, 'tis the season to be Chompy!

Believe it or not, the Chompy Mage actually hatched from inside a Chompy Pod!

At least that is how his Chompy hand puppet tells the story. Having been raised by Chompies, it is no surprise that the old magician is a little strange. He simply grew up embracing the Chompy way – believing that Skylands would be a better place if everyone was a Chompy – an illegal enchantment which he has actually tried to perform on several occasions. It was this kind of magic that led to him to be locked up inside Cloudcracker Prison. After breaking out and joining the other Doomlanders, Chompy Mage was once again captured by the Skylanders, Eon gave these Villains a choice – either go back to jail or become Skylander Senseis, teaching a new generation of Imaginators their formidable battle skills as well as how to stay clear of a life of crime. They accepted the deal but first had to prove themselves by re-arranging all the books in the Academy’s library, a task which took almost two years, testing every ounce of will they had. This also gave Chompy Mage time to take up the bazooka, which he was naturally so good at that he now trains Imaginators of the Bazooka Class as a Sensei master.

Jackson County Fair in Scottsboro, Alabama (Event Review)

The Jackson County Fair has invaded Scottsboro, Alabama for the week of October 7-11, 2014, but the event may be a waste of money for some.  The fair was the 79th annual showing and was presented by Kissel Entertainment. The event featured rides, exhibits, games and great (yet too expensive) food for attendees at the show. Families could have enjoyed a great time at the fair grounds, but the event wasn't cheap and it didn't feature some of the more prominent attractions like one would find at larger, state fairs and carnivals. The turn out very low in Scottsboro though, and many would think that this would make it easier to enjoy the event but not even small lines could help make the Jackson County event fun. The Jackson County Fair had over a dozen rides for all age groups. The fair's massive Ferris Wheel towered high in the sky and helped light up the event, while the Moby Dick ride and Gravitron also looked fearsome and stood tall even from a distance. Plenty of ...
