Telltale Games has released the season finale of BATMAN - The Telltale Series.
The final season episode, City of Light, has released for BATMAN - The Telltale Series. BioGamer Girl thought it was the perfect time to give the series a spin before the holiday season.
BATMAN - The Telltale Series has been rendered graphically to look like a comic book that has come to life before your very eyes. The series features some fantastic voice acting that includes Troy Baker (Bruce Wayne), Travis Willingham (Harvey Dent), Erin Yvette (Vicki Vale), Enn Reitel (Alfred Pennyworth), Murphy Guyer (Lieutenant James Gordon), Richard McGonagle (Carmine Falcone), Jason Spisak (Oswald Cobblepot), Dave Fennoy (Lucius Fox), Anthony Ingruber (John Doe), and Laura Bailey (Selina Kyle).
The new series by Telltale Games not only looks amazing, but the soundtrack and voice-acting are phenomenal. BATMAN - The Telltale Series pulls you in with its incredible storytelling and takes you on an epic adventure with your favorite Batman characters. If you think you know the characters from Batman, then the Telltale series will completely change that, and shows you that you didn't really know them at all.
Every choice is important in BATMAN during the 10 hours of gameplay and it was amazing to see the evil unfold with our bad guys like Two-Face, Penguin and Catwoman. While the series portrays Batman as the main character, the hero is more like a bystander, who is watching the chaos unfold around him.
The story is dark in BATMAN and focuses on the fact that Thomas Wayne actually committed sane people to the cruelness of the asylum to further his own interests. It is those moments in the timeline that actually form the plot for the story and the decisions that were made by all those affected. It was intriguing to watch how this one moment in history impacted every decision that was to come.
In the end, BATMAN - The Telltale Series was an enjoyable story even thought it suffered from a few disconnected plot holes. If you thought you knew Batman and the rest of the characters of Arkham City, then BATMAN -The Telltale Series will change your entire outlook on the world you thought you had figured out.
