Orcs Must Die! Unchained has received a new update adding new battlegrounds and more.


Orcs Must Die! Unchained returns today with a massive new update! Focused entirely on its signature action tower defense, the update delivers the classic OMD feeling that has delighted millions of blood-thirsty orc-slayers. Open Beta release 1.6 brings with it overhauls to physics traps, UI, visual effects, and every single hero in the game. It also brings a selection of new battlegrounds, including several classic OMD maps with nightmarish new updates.

  • Faster and More Furious - Faster hero speeds, squishier minions, bigger physics - the classic OMD feeling has never looked and felt quite so glorious.
  • Every Hero Rebuilt for Survival - Never again will players fear that their favorite hero can't keep up in Survival Mode. Every hero in the game has been rebalanced for Survival, giving players tons of hero combination options.
  • All New Map Structure - There's a whole new way to play through your favorite Battlegrounds in OMDU's new difficulty tiers. Players must prove their worth before moving up to the next big challenge.
  • New Prologue -All new players will start with a brief campaign to get them started with all the OMD knowledge they'll need to bust heads in the Survival Battlegrounds.
